Nigeria: 'Secondary School Union Not Out to Dislodge NUT'

Ado-Ekiti — Secondary schools teachers in Ekiti State under the aegis of Academic Staff Union of Secondary Schools (ASUSS), yesterday denied insinuation that the recognition given to it by the state government was aimed at dislodging the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT).

In a statement in Ado-Ekiti, the ASUSS chairman, Comrade Sola Adigun said the recognition given to it by the state government was deserving and long overdue.
