Nigeria: Bi-Courtney and Lagos-Ibadan Motorway

Self determination is the foundation to self development which leads to self sufficiency and a position of strength when dealing with others in any capacity. So in this vein, one has to salute the courage of the federal government to commission the construction of the proposed Lagos-Ibadan motorway in the hands of a fully indigenous consortium.

At this stage, just like India, Brazil, Singapore etc, Nigeria should develop the capacity and experience for building and construction of roads, bridges and dams, and be self sufficient in food security and many other life sustaining infrastructures. Though it is too late for some to see this dream, it is better late than never for the rest of us.
