How are you and your party, the CPC, preparing for the forth coming governorship election in Sokoto State?

We are aware that contesting an election against an incumbent takes serious planning and hardwork. To that extent, we are not resting on our oars. We have been visiting all the nooks and cranny of the state; we have also been consulting with relevant stakeholders in the state. Very soon, we shall start full blown campaigns. We are particularly reaching out to the youths in the state whose future is at stake. The menace of drug abuse, unemployment, 'Area Boy' syndrome, lack of equal opportunities etc, have combined to make the future of our young people very bleak. We are reaching out to this segment of the society with a view to getting them interested in the forthcoming election.
