Gambia: Manual On Child Sex Tourism Launched

The Gambia Tourism Board [GTB] Wednesday officially launched the Gambia Tourism Board training manual on child sex tourism at the Baobab Hotel. The launching came following the training of trainers on the manual held on 4th October 2011.

It would be recalled that GTB constituted a Task Force Committee for developing a training manual on child sex tourism. The Task force Committee comprises of members of the tourism fraternity, Gambia Hotel Association, ASSET, and the security among others stakeholders, in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and Culture [MTC) and their partner UNICEF who funded the training manual.
