Kenya: Cooking Gas Prices to Drop With Completion of New Gas Terminal

Inflation last month surged to 17.17 per cent up from 16.32 the previous month in a month-to-month rise since October last year. This means that middle and low-income earners in the country are currently spending more on energy while reducing their savings and their expenditure in other areas.

The cost of cooking gas could come down next year after the completion of a 28,000 tonnes storage facility in Mombasa.
