Sumbe — The second block of the penitentiary of Sumbe, in the province of Kwanza Sul, was inaugurated on Monday by the deputy minister for Civil Protection Services and Fire Department, Eugénio Laborinho who highlighted the condition offered to prisoners.
After the inauguration, the deputy minister visited the areas of the two floors of the building and told reporters that the rehabilitation of the penitentiary is a result of government efforts to provide prisoners social conditions of accommodation and medical assistance in promotion of human rights.
