Angola: Uíge Hosts National Forum On Rural Woman

Luanda — The northern Uíge province will host on 13-15 October the 7th national forum on rural woman.

According to a press note from the Ministry of Family and Women Promotion, which reached Angop on Monday, the event will be attended by delegates of the country's 18 provinces.

Under the slogan "Invest in the rural women to develop their communities", the forum is a dialogue and discussion space among different actors (Government and its stakeholders) that directly or indirectly deal with women's problem in the rural area and the development of their communities.

The forum is a biannual event. The last forum was hosted by the southern Cunene province in 2009.
