Gambia: More Local Children Airlifted for Surgery in Venezuela

The government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela through its bilateral cooperation with the Gambia government continues to airlift more Gambian children suffering from complicated heart problems to Venezuela for surgery in one of its hospitals in Caracas.

The latest batch comprising four children whose ages range from 1-14 years -Baboucarr Gomez, Hendry Peter Ndow, Alieu Jallow, and Kewi Ceesay, accompanied by their relatives, departed Banjul on Sunday for Caracas, where they are expected to undergo major heart surgery.
