Dar es Salaam — According to the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (IDEA), voters' turnout statistics from recent elections in Tanzania are as follows, Parliamentary elections: 1995 (76.51 per cent), 2000 (72.77 per cent), 2005 (72.52 per cent) and 2010 (39.49 per cent).

Presidential election: 1995 (76.67 per cent), 2000 (84.43 per cent), 2005 (72.41 per cent), and 2010 (42.84 per cent).
