Nigeria: Global Leaders Meet Over Food Security Challenge

United States — Former Presidents, Chief Executive Officers of some of the world's largest agricultural companies, policy makers and World Food Prize (WFP) laureates in various countries across the world have gathered in Des Moines, Iowa in the United States of America to find solution to growing food security shortages.

Meeting during the 2011 25th anniversary of Norman E. Borlaug World Food Prize (WFP) and International symposium, the leaders expressed concern over the current food security challenges and food crisis especially in Africa and called stakeholders to 'think forward' even as the world's population continues to grow.
