Ghana: Deepening Transparency

In a bid to encourage transparency and public accountability in all spheres of the economy, particularly in the forest sector, Traditional Authorities and District Assemblies have been urged to disclose the amount of royalties they receive and what they are used for.

They have also been asked to develop a transparency charter that indicates their public commitment to good governance and transparency in their dealings.
