Angola: Huíla Government Searches Financing in Germany

Luanda — A delegation of Huíla Province government is since last Monday in the Free State of Bavaria, Germany, in search of financing partnership, ANGOP learnt from a source that is part of the delegation.

According to the source, Huíla government is searching financial support for agriculture and industry, due to the fact that the province has a potential of over 1.4 million heads of cattle that belong to small farmers.

Thus, the governor of Huíla has highlighted agriculture, mining, exploration of plaster, granite, limestone, as well as staff training, as being key areas for diversifying the region's economy.

On the other hand, he said that through this first contact it will be laid the bases for the signing of an agreement of twinning between the cities of Bavaria and Huíla.
