Electricity distributor Kenya Power posted a 13.5 per cent rise in full year net profit buoyed by rising demand and warned that the slowing economy could hurt its earnings this year.
The firm's net profit grew to Sh4.2 billion in the year to June from Sh3.7 billion the previous year lifted by high electricity sales, which grew to Sh42.4 billion from Sh39.1 billion over the period.
