Angolan President José Eduardo dos Santos, said general elections in the country will take place in the third quarter of the year 2012. He also said in the polls citizens will elect the President and Vice President of the Republic, as well as the members of the parliament.
For this to happen Jose Eduardo dos Santos appealed to the National Assembly to approve with some urgency the laws that will regulate the polls and the composition of the National Electoral Commission.
