Nigeria: Classification of Indigenous Vessels - NCS Partners American Bureau

To fast-track the participation of Nigerians in the shipping sector of the economy, the Nigerian Chamber of Shipping (NCS), in collaboration with the America Bureau of Shipping (ABS), has expressed readiness to improve on the classification of indigenous vessels.

Speaking at a two-day workshop on how to improve on the classification standard of indigenous vessels, the Director-General of NCS, Mrs. Ifianyinwa Anazonwu-Akerele said the workshop was also geared towards promoting safer shipping operations in the country.
