Nigeria: Jonathan Meets PDP Leaders, Says 'Our Economy in Danger'

Determined to ensure a deliberate and sustained campaign to remove subsidy on petroleum products next year, President Goodluck Jonathan last Friday night met with members of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on his administration's policy on the subsidy.

The meeting between the President and the members of the NWC led by the Acting National Chairman of the PDP, Alhaji Abubakar Baraje, it was gathered, took place at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
