Liberia: CDC To Boycott Runoff

If one were to judge by signals coming from the political closet of the main opposition party, Congress for Democratic Change (CDC), then, it means that the nation is once more heading for a serious political crisis, as reports gathered by this paper indicate that Madam Sirleaf's main challenger, the CDC, is planning a boycott of the pending runoff election, as well as rolling its political sleeves for a possible interim leadership debate.

Sources close to the CDC hierarchy say the Party is currently preparing to stay away from the imminent runoff election scheduled to take place in November, 2011 because of that it called massive fraud carried out by the NEC in the just concluded October 11 elections.
