Uganda: Majwega Case an Eye Opener

The likelihood of Brian Majwega ending up at Bunnamwaya, the moment his parent club KCC got involved in the feud with the former over his signature, was as clear as night follows day. Bunnamwaya were always favourites.

You could laugh because by referring the case of the disputed player to the Fufa Players Standing Committee, KCC had shot themselves in the foot. Fufa however have scored now that Majwega now belongs to the mayor's side after months of stalemate were broken. Despite the public knowledge of his links to Bunnamwaya, Fufa president Lawrence Mulindwa continues to deny any involvement with the 2010 Bell Super League champions. That's where the questions of partiality start bearing in mind that Majwega played for Bunnamwaya in a pre-season friendly.
