Namibia: Unam Promotes Rice Production Among Community, School

Epalela — As part of its ongoing activities of educating communities about rice production, the University of Namibia's Ogongo campus recently demonstrated "the secret" behind rice production to curious community members and a local school.

The demonstration, held at the homestead of Unam vice chancellor, Professor Lazarus Hangula, at Epalela in the Omusati Region, attracted scores of people who showed keen interest in rice production.
