Nigeria: Monarch Appeals for Calm Over Fuel Subsidy Removal

Akure — The Chairman, Obat Oil and Petroleum, Oba Obateru Akinruntan yesterday appealed to Nigerians to exercise restraint and await the Federal Government's guidelines on the removal of oil subsidy before jumping into conclusion.

Oba Akinruntan who is the Olugbo of Ugboland, in Ondo State said stakeholders should reserve comments on the issue since it was still a proposal instead of making comments that could create tension or cause crisis.
