Nigeria: Hike in Fees - Lasu Students Stone Deputy Governor

Rampaging students of Lagos State University (LASU) yesterday defied heavy presence of security personnel at the state secretariat, to hurl stones at the state deputy governor, Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire in their protest against the recent hike in tuition fees by the state government.

The agrieved students who trekked long distance to the sit of power could not be deterred by the combination of armed Policemen in both the Lagos House Ikeja (Governor Fashola's office) and the state House of Assembly (LAHA,) as they also forced their entry into the premises.
