Nigeria: Ajimobi Reiterates Commitment to Free Education

Ibadan — OYO State Government on Wednesday in Ibadan declared that its free education policy at the primary and secondary school levels is non-negotiable just as it extended hands of fellowship to proprietors of private schools across the state in ensuring success of the education programme.

The state Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Adetokunbo Fayokun, told the League of Muslim School Proprietors Worldwide (LEAMSP), Oyo State Chapter, that the present administration in the state led by Senator Isiaka Abiola Ajimobi sees education as the key to its cardinal programmes and as such would not compromise in the implementation of the free education iprogramme.
