Nigeria: Minimum Wage - Senate Plans Bail-Out for States

A juicy bail out package is under way for states unable to pay the approved N18, 000 minimum wage as Senate yesterday ordered the federal government to immediately review the existing revenue sharing formula in favour of states and local governments.

President Goodluck Jonathan is however expected to present the proposed revenue sharing formula to the Senate for accelerated consideration.
