Nigeria: Court Goes Tough Over Adedibu Aide's Case

Ibadan — OYO State High Court is considering ordering warrant of arrest of Mojeed Alabi, one of the former Personal Assistants to late Chief Lamidi Adedibu, and two other persons if the state police command fail to produce them for prosecution over August 2006 attacks on the premises of Pelly Foam Limited, Ibadan.

Justice Peter Ige, the trial judge said late Adedibu's aide, Pastor Peter Asha and Sola Oyin-Adejobi, have been recommended for prosecution by the Director for Public Prosecution of the Oyo State Ministry of Justice over their alleged involvement in the said attack allegedly masterminded by the late politician and the late factional leader of the state branch of the National Union of Road Transport Workers,NRTW, Mr. Lateef Salako.
