Yola — With political temperature of Adamawa State rising higher by the day, it is clear that the opposition parties in the state have not yet got their acts together with a view to wrestle power from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the forthcoming governorship poll scheduled for January. Several factors, according to observers, are responsible for the opposition's seeming disarray on the threshold of the elections.

In any ideal democratic environment, the need for strong, vibrant and focused opposition is indispensable, but here in Adamawa State, the situation is totally different as the parties expected to play the role, are in a state of disarray.
