Few days to the Arafat, the Nigerian Hajj Medical Team said it has recorded 20 psychiatric cases among Nigerian pilgrims in Madinah.Speaking to Daily Trust on phone from Mecca, Head of the Medical Team, Dr. Ibrahim Kana, said both male and female pilgrims were affected.
On what caused the illness, Dr. Kana said "there were many reasons. Some cases are induced by stress and tension; others because of changing environment because of the population. In fact some had to do with the fact that they were boarding the plane for the first time."
