Nigeria: ACPN to Challenge Results of Lagos Council Polls in Court

THE Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN), yesterday in Abuja, said it would challenge some of the results of Lagos Council elections held on Saturday in court.

The party's National Secretary, Alhaji Ganiyu Galadima, in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), said the results were lopsided. 'Therefore, the results, as announced by the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LAISEC), are not accepted by the party.
