Gambia: Guinean Sentenced

Principal Magistrate Foster of the Bundung Magistrates Court on Monday sentenced one Edrissa Jallow to pay a fine of D800, in default to serve one month imprisonment, for the offence of theft, contrary to Section 252 of the Criminal Code, Laws of The Gambia.

The particulars of the offence revealed that on the 3rd of October 2011 in Sukuta, Kombo North of the West Coast Region, the convict stole two mobile phones valued at D2, 700, being the properties of one Abdoulie Jallow.
