THE commission of inquiry on the sale of Zamtel yesterday heard how the MMD government pressurised Zesco to sign a dubious contract over operations of its optic fibre network which added value to the telecommunications company and benefited the would-be buyer.
Zesco has since requested the commission to help it reverse the contract as it was exploiting the power supply firm.
