National Elections Commission Chair James Fromayan, has described the controversial letter to the Congress for Democratic Change or CDC, indicating that the party received the highest votes from the October 11, 2011 presidential election as 'minor error' that lacks sufficient reason for him to resign his post.
"This error is not sufficient enough for me as head of this commission to resign my position at the eve of a critical election in our country. However, the head of Communication Bobby Livingston has been fired of his post by the board of the commissioners and his deputy Mr. Nathan Mulbah has been suspended for six months by also the board of commissioners for their reckless attitudes that brought total embarrassment to this commission", Fromayan said in a news conference Thursday.
