Namibia: Coasters in for a Ballet Treat

Swakopmund — Swakopmunders and visitors to the town this weekend are in for a brilliant production from the pen of Heather Kittel, renowned Namibian ballet tutor, tomorrow night at the Namib Primary School Hall, also known as the Bank Windhoek NPS Kultur Aula.

The show called Ballet Fantasies with scenes from Thumbelina and other ballet excerpts, is arranged and directed by Kittel and Zaandra du Toit and promises not to let down spectators. Kittel is passionate when she talks about the art: "When we see a great dancer on stage, moving us deeply by the apparent effortless beauty and expressiveness of his or her movements, we see only the tip of the iceberg.
