A Thomas Cook Scandinavia airbus A321 carrying 211 tourists Thursday landed at the Banjul International Airport to mark the beginning of the 2011/2012 tourism season.
The tourists where received at the foot of the aircraft by the minister of Tourism and Culture, Fatou Mass Jobe-Njie accompanied by her, permanent secretary, Noah Touray, Fatou Beyai, acting director general of Gambia Tourism Board; and Lt Aboubakar Bah, commander, Tourist Security Unit among other officials.
