Nigeria: Shell's Production Output Declines, First Time in Two Years

Oil and gas production from Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) has shown a year-on-year decline for the first time in two years, according to the third-quarter data published yesterday by the company.

The Europe's largest oil company, however, doubled its global profit to nearly $7 billion in the third quarter because of higher oil prices and one-time gains.
