A defeated presidential candidate has accused the international community of stealing her votes for President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.

Ms. Manjerngie Cecelia Ndebe, Presidential Candidate Liberia Reconstruction Party who scored 0.45% of the total votes in the first round of elections, in a letter to the UNMIL boss Ellen Loj with copies sent to the ECOWAS, UN Security Council, the US, Pres. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and other international actors, claimed that her votes were stolen and given to President Sirleaf.
