Kampala — KCC players this week delivered a timely reminder on the long road to professionalising the local league by refusing to train on Wednesday due to unpaid wages.

This came just 24 hours after their 1-0 loss to Bunnamwaya and they had not won in five. Of course, remuneration remains a stinking point even if officials confirmed the players had been paid for August and were only owed September and October.
