The sixth edition of Kenya International Film Festival which began on October 21 has hundreds of events lined up to celebrate the event. Monday evening saw the launch of the Spanish night at the festival with a concert by performers Blanca Altable and Chuchi Alcuadrado at the Louis Leakey Auditorium at the National Museum in Nairobi.
The performers, who have also performed in South Africa and Sudan, presented 'mayo' traditional Spanish music played in the Northern part of Castile countryside in Spain. The evening ended with a cocktail sponsored by the Spanish Embassy.
