Kenya: Rapid Results Swoop Nets Illegal Drinks Sellers in Kitengela

MEMBERS of Rapid Results Initiative yesterday descended on Kitengela town and arrested several businessmen for allegedly selling counterfeit alcoholic brands.

Those targeted were wines and spirits wholesale outlets and major bars suspected to be hoarding counterfeit drinks not approved by Kenya Bereau od Standards. Also arrested are holders of counterfeit stickers not approved by the Kenya Revenue Authority.
