THE National Campaign Against Drug Abuse Authority is conducting random inspections of alcohol manufacturing and selling premises. The inspections began in Nairobi and will continue countrywide, said Nacada's acting national coordinator Aggrey Busena. "So far, our teams have visited Starehe, Kamukunji, Makadara, Embakasi, Langata, Njiru, Kasarani, Westlands, Dagoretti and Athi River," said Busena in a statement.
He said 24 people have been arrested and will appear in court to answer to various charges under the law.
