Kenya: Hussein Appeals to Coastals to Change Direction

28 October 2011

Football chairman aspirant Hussein Mohamed ended his campaign at the Coast yesterday calling on the IIEC and IEB to be vigilant in the polls tomorrow. Hussein who urged club delegates to take the vote wisely urged the IIEC to be on the lookout for candidates who engage in bribery. Hussein said the votes would decided the destiny of football in the country. "Give a test by voting for me during the weekend polls and judge my performance after the expiry of my term," he pleaded.

He cautioned the delegates not to trade their votes with bribery and urged them to turn up in large numbers. "Don't vote only to regret but vote to embrace leadership change in football administration," he said. Hussein reminded the stakeholders not to vote for people who have ruined football. "We have faith the IIEC will conduct free and fair polls," he said.
