Nigeria: Edo PDP Scribe Under Fire Over Attack On Oshiomhole

Edo State chieftain of the Action Congress of Nigeria, Elder Olu Ashoko recently berated the Assistant Publicity Secretary of the state Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bisi Idaomi over an interview she granted by saying Oshiomhole is not Edo's expected messiah.

Ashoko who hails from ward 9, Uneme Nekwa in Akoko-Edo said, "next time she makes such uncomplimentary comments, she would be replied in like manner. Whatever measure she gives next time, she would receive in double fold from us because they that live in glass houses do not throw stones and if you do not want to be drenched, do not go near the river", he warned in proverbial languages.

He said, "Bisi Idaomi's interview was dotted with such uncouth words as, 'roadside government', 'mere political vultures'.

While I am tempted to say she is not qualified to grant such an interview, she does not merit the space given to her by the Newspaper. Besides, I make bold to state unequivocally that she lacks the mettle, intellectual and mental capacity to speak those languages she was quoted to have made.

"It's a shame Edo PDP sees an assistant publicity secretary in her . It is evident the party has no follower ship any longer or else, who is she in the politics of ward 9 or Uneme Erhunrun (her village) where she hails from let alone Akoko Edo? As somebody who contemplated decamping to the ACN when she was dissatisfied in the PDP."
