Ghana: DCEs Pain and Agony at Policy Launch

Kumasi — IT WAS a moment of pain and distress for some Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) at the Centre for National Culture in Kumasi yesterday, when they were subjected to public ridicule during the official launch of the Ashanti Regional version of the National Policy Fair.

Anger and frustration were clearly written on the faces of these MMDCEs who thronged the Cultural Centre with their lieutenants to participate in the programme, which was meant to showcase projects and achievements of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration, after they discovered that no sitting provisions were made for them by the organizers of the show.
