Sudan: Kiir to Visit Warrap Despite Rebel Threats

Juba — Salva Kiir Mayardit, President of the Republic of the newly established Republic of South Sudan is scheduled to pay a three day official visit to his home state of Warrap despite a rebel group threatening to attack the area.

On Saturday South Sudan's army (SPLA) said 75 people - 60 rebels and 15 civilians - are believed to have died when the South Sudan Liberation Army (SSLA) a rebel group attacked Mayom town in Unity state.
