Liberia: We Need Government Support

31 October 2011

The Executive Director of the Young Liberian Builders Association (YOLBA), Moses T.K. Dossen has called on the Government of Liberia to give support to local construction firms that are engaged in the rebuilding process of the country.

YOLBA made the called over the weekend during the honoring and official certification of its members by the Society for the Promotion of Peace, National Reconciliation and Reunification (SPNRL), held at the company’s headquarters on the Tubman Boulevard, Sinkor. Mr. Dossen, YOLBA’s Chief Executive, said it was important for the GOL to lend its support to Liberian construction companies because, he intoned, many  construction firms owned  and operated by Liberians do not have the financial capacity of obtaining loans from the banks, neither do they have  ability  to  underwrite projects in  the country.
