Gambia: Islamic Scholars' Sensitisation Forum Ends in Lower River Region

At least 30 Islamic scholars from across the country recently concluded a three-day sensitisation forum on the operational guidelines for Traditional Islamic Educational Institutions in The Gambia held at the Rural Development Institute in Mansakonko, Lower River Region.

The forum organized by the Institute for Social Reformation and Action (ISRA) based in Kotu South, was meant to enlighten participants on the aforementioned subject, as well as to seeking their inputs on the draft guild lines.
