Namibia: Country Unprepared for Dealing With Children Who Rape

A parent whose four-year-old boy was sodomised by a seven-year-old child has raised questions about whether Namibia is ignoring signs that this kind of violence is widespread.

According to recent studies in South Africa, 42 per cent of all sexual assaults are committed by children against other children. However, sexual abuse cases are under-reported in Namibia.
