Nigeria: Product Registration - SON Give 14 Days Ultimatum to Importers, Manufacturers

The Standard Organisation of Nigeria (SON) has given importers and manufacturers of goods a fourteen-day ultimatum to register their products with the organisation, in its pursuit of its zero tolerance policy on substandard products in the country.

The Director General, SON, Mr. Joseph Odumodu, explained that the move was to ensure that every product that enters into the country was traceable to the country of origin or manufacturers.
