Egypt: High Elections Commission Finalized Amendment of Lists

The High Judicial Elections Commission has finalized on Tuesday 08/11/2011 the amendment of lists of political blocs and parties in all constituencies for the upcoming elections of the People's Assembly and Shura Council.

Head of the Commission, Counselor Abdel Moez Ibrahim said that the judicial committees will begin today until next Friday to examine appeals against the new candidates who were added to the lists until yesterday.

He noted that the final names of the lists' candidates will be announced on November 11.
