Angola: Transport Minister Announces Studies On Kwanza River Navigation

Ndalatando — The Transport minister, Augusto da Silva Tomás, announced on Friday in Ndalatando, northern kwanza Norte Province, that his sector is currently conducting studies aiming at finding the feasibility of implementing a project of using the Kwanza river for public transportation navigation.

Speaking to the press in Ndalatando, in the framework of the celebrations of the country's 36th independence anniversary, Augusto da Silva Tomás revealed that the studies on Kwanza river are aimed at making it navigable, in the ambit of the efforts of the government intended to link the province to a network and strengthen the province's public transportation system.
