Nigeria: The Nation at the Bottom of Broadband Performance - Minister

Lagos — The Minister of Communication Technology, Omobola Johnson, says Nigeria is at the bottom of the African broadband download performance table with download speeds of 1.38Mbps compared to Ghana's which is at the top of the table with 10.1MPbs.

To address this challenge, the minister said Nigerian lawmakers have a critical role to play in the development of the nation's information Communication Technology ICT sector through advancing legislation that will increase the spread of ICT networks and devices to Nigerians
