Kenya: State House Chief's Wife Eyeing Kiambu Women's Seat for 2012

The State House comptroller's wife Susan Githinji has emerged as the first woman to declare her interest in the Kiambu county women's representative seat.

Githinji has been traversing her home area in Limuru and now says that she will tour the whole county of eight constituencies; Juja, Kiambaa, Lari, Kikuyu, Limuru, Githunguri, Gatundu South and Gatundu North. If the proposed 80 constituencies will be in place before the next general election, she will have to campaigns in Kabete and Kiambu as well.
